I enjoy am working towards a bachelors within business, and i want to move about 2 Dental conservatory do i necessitate to switch to BS?

I have be wanting to be a dentist for as long as I can remember. Before taking the just jump in I worked as a D.A to see if I like the work which I did. However somewhere I fell in to the world of design and rage and have also be working for a BA in marketing. But immediately the dental bug is calling me back and I know I want to step in to dental university and eventually be an OS. I am just worried though that my adjectives my hard work towards a BA contained by Marketing is going to go to idle away and I have to jump back and receive a BS in science. Should I verbs, or is the fact I enjoy worked in the industry going to oblige. I also have the reasoning that they do not educate business in dental arts school. What do you all assume?

Answer:
I think that if and when you become a dentist that your experience near marketing will be of great help. You should check out the prerequisites for a dental program. I know you should pilfer calculus, physics and chemistry etc prior to taking the DAT (dental admissions test) as it make up most of the content. It would make sense to be within a science program. GOOD LUCK

You don't have to switch your point, but you will still have to complete adjectives the science pre-req's for dental school along near your degree. This usually includes a year of Inorganic Chem, a year of Organic Chem, and a year of Biology, adjectives with labs. Usually family just find it easier to trunk in a science after taking adjectives of those classes, but you can major contained by anything you want.

Oh, and a business degree would be informative for your career as a dentist, so it isn't a spend foolishly.
Check with a couple of dental school to see what they'd prefer to see.

The fact that you've done some work contained by the field won't hurt, but it may not variety up for getting too far off the preferred track.

OTOH, my favorite dentist started as a physical nurture teacher, consequently quit that and went to dental college where he become an excellent dentist.
REGINA,
CONGRATULATIONS!
WHY?
DENTISTS IN DENTAL SCHOOL ARE TAUGHT NOTHING ABOUT BUSINESS OR ADVERTISING/MARKETING.
YOU DON'T NEED A BS DEGREE TO GO TO DENTAL SCHOOL, BUT A PRE-DENT CURRICULUM IS REQUIRED TO BE ACCEPED TO THE SCHOOL. SPEAK WITH A DEAN OF ADMISSIONS AND LEARN ALL ABOUT IT.
KNOWLEDGE APPLIED IS NEVER A WASTE. GOOD LUCK - FUTURE DENTIST! :-)
I'd say that adjectives of the above answers are correct, but here's one site where you can receive an idea TONIGHT what you will hold to add to your curriculum to touch dental school declaration of guilt requirements.

Check out my old arts school http://www.dental.upenn.edu/ - click on "Admissons" - and see if this is helpful at this stage of the spectator sport.
