I enjoy am working towards a bachelors within business,and i want to move about 2 Dental conservatory do i necessitate to switch to BS?
I think that if and when you become a dentist that your experience near marketing will be of great help. You should check out the prerequisites for a dental program. I know you should pilfer calculus, physics and chemistry etc prior to taking the DAT (dental admissions test) as it make up most of the content. It would make sense to be within a science program. You don't have to switch your point, but you will still have to complete adjectives the science pre-req's for dental school along near your degree. This usually includes a year of Inorganic Chem, a year of Organic Chem, and a year of Biology, adjectives with labs. Usually family just find it easier to trunk in a science after taking adjectives of those classes, but you can major contained by anything you want.
Oh, and a business degree would be informative for your career as a dentist, so it isn't a spend foolishly.
Check with a couple of dental school to see what they'd prefer to see.
The fact that you've done some work contained by the field won't hurt, but it may not variety up for getting too far off the preferred track.
OTOH, my favorite dentist started as a physical nurture teacher, consequently quit that and went to dental college where he become an excellent dentist.
DENTISTS IN DENTAL SCHOOL ARE TAUGHT NOTHING ABOUT BUSINESS OR ADVERTISING/MARKETING.
YOU DON'T NEED A BS DEGREE TO GO TO DENTAL SCHOOL, BUT A PRE-DENT CURRICULUM IS REQUIRED TO BE ACCEPED TO THE SCHOOL. SPEAK WITH A DEAN OF ADMISSIONS AND LEARN ALL ABOUT IT.
