BRACES! please serve...?

im getting braces soon and i need everone serve to tell me what im going to experience and what i can chomp through and what to expect out of them. i thank you for everyone help.

Well, I own braces and they aren't that bad when you go and get use to them. I have have mine for 4 months so far and I have just about 3 years left!
Well for the food point I suggest that you wait for any intricate food for a couple days when you first get your braces, approaching applesause and mash potatoes . Then after that you shouldn't get through anything sticky, or chewy. Also you aren't allowed to have gum or anything intricate like adjectives different types of candy. Your Ortho with hold a HUGE list of what you are and aren't irrelevant to have.

Before you stir to the Ortho to get your braces on I suggest you embezzle a motrain, advil, or tylenol. You might need it, trust me!!

You should brush your teeth 3 times a time but then I suggest you catch ACT mouthwash maybe kids bubblegum flavor wreak you aren't allowed to have bubble gum.

I hope this help!

Hopefully you won't need spacers or expander but if you do other take medication so it won't hurt that much

The point of braces is that it will straighten your teeth and help you have a better smile and sometimes make you always want to smile. I can't continue to have that experience
They are bleak and usually hurt your teeth for a while each time you go and get them tightened. They tell you that you can't munch through gum, toffee and that kind of cast-offs but honestly, you can. It really doesn't matter. Look forward to the time you get them bad.
The first week or two will be the worst. Take alot of ibuprofin for the pain, and until your teeth start feeing better, simply eat liquid-y foods, resembling Jello, soup, popsicles, pudding, etc. Don't attempt to eat anything firm for a while no matter how unpromising you want to, that's only gonna receive the pain end longer and become more intense. Later on when you get them tightened your mouth might be sore for a few days, but probably not as much as the first few days.
More than the aching, what bothered me was how I looked beside braces. You will look pretty different, more different than you expected probably. But you'll get used to it.
Good luck next to your braces, hopefully you'll only requirement them for a short time. Before you know it you'll own a beautiful smile!
i have braces for two years and my teeth came out great! they are a short time annoying and they rub up against your lips. you cant guzzle chewy or sticky stuff, but i did anyway, and i never broke anything. they are defenitely worth it
spacers are wat they usely put a week before u put onthe braces. they r used to provide room for the band, which hold the wires, which hold the braces

***pink and light blue are cute colors

***NEVER obtain white or clear bands motive white looks like food is stuck surrounded by ur braces and clear like it u chomp through ketchup or a lollipop or somethin, they stain

***they put the bands, and consequently every time u go vertebrae u get to choose unusual colors

i have gotton em on over 6 times (dont ask!)

it doesnt hurt dont worry-it is merely a long process and it tastes kinda desperate

they give u a belt on ur molars fiist, to see ur size and stuff

first theu put this positioner thing is ur mouth, it make your mouth stretch a lkot so they can see ur teeth, it will bother u for a minute or 2 but u will get used to it, u hang on to that thing on the WHOLE time

later there are these things that look close to shots and stuff, i got really freaked out when i first saw them but certainly, they dont go surrounded by ur mouth! this is the cement that they put on ur braces then they stick the braces on ur teeth
**the cement kinda taste bad!

they do this the first time and every time u draw from them tightened:

they will put the rubber bands on ur braces near things that look like sisscors (they dont hurt) after that they put the wire-this is the most anoying member cause after they slip it within ur mouth, they have to cut it to take home it fit right

then specifically it!Ur done
but after u do it, ask ur doctor for dental wax, and rubber cover up

when u get home use ACT mouthwash and for the first hour, ur teeth may be for a time numb so drink mainly fluids-clear fluids

consequently for the first day or 2 ur teeth may be for a while sensitive so stick with intake soup, pasta, pudding, jello, beans, yogurt, custard, fries, milkshakes, ice cream, and soft foods-avoid straws

every dark use Peroxyl mouthwash for like a week to hang on to ur gums storng from cuts and use dental wax and rubber coverups so u wont get blisters, they hurt a touch but arent that bad. avoid sleeping on ur side, try to save ur head straight up for a couple of days

every morning and every hours of darkness use the Peroxyl mouthwash again for 2 weeks then after that simply use ACT mouthwash to keep ur teeth and gum s tough. get some Super floss, made for braces-i sugest elictrical toothbrushes they save ur mouth cleaner

dont worry-trust me- i have have my braces on for almost 4 years, i just get em off 4 days ago-i luv my up to date smile!

Well actually you can hold SUGARLESS gum
Braces aren't really that bad.

I enjoy had braces since the September of 2005, and getting them rotten soon!

It takes a while for them to install the braces on your teeth, I focus it's about an hour or so.
Here's my tip on that : if you own to get them within the morning, and you are not a morning person, bring in sure you get plenty sleep the night since. The orthidonists will probably give you evil glare everytime you try to yawn.
Your orthidonist will most likely put you on a soft food diet for 24 hours. Make sure you listen to them when they detail you that.

The days after you get your braces, your mouth will definatly be extraordinarily very sore. For me, it feel like I couldn't use my teeth to guzzle and my jaw kept hurting. But, logically, it's different for everyone.

About the food that you can't eat and can, at hand are a few foods that they tell you that you can't devour but honestly you can, just if you don't chew on them. For example, Starbursts. Ususally, I put the starburst contained by my mouth and basically swallow it. Be extra carefull after you devour a sandwich, 99% of the time parts of the sandwich will be stuck in your teeth. Trust me, it's not fun for someone to share you that you have something contained by your teeth.just craft sure to check your teeth after you eat anything, however small or big it is, because most possible parts of it will be stuck in your teeth.

Good Luck!
I get my braces june 5th and I like lived stale of jello and applesauce for almost a week.but once you get used to ingestion with them you'll know how to eat more solid foods. plus I also get bite turbos and I am still having small consumption problems but it's no big deal.
Good luck! :)
