Sensitive teeth!!?

I visited my dentist ending week and had no problems, but on friday after drinking a really cold drink I developed anguish when eating/drinking hot and cold food. The tooth also has white lines on it which I hold never noticed earlier.
Do I need to see my dentist again or will sensodine toothpaste sort this out for me?

Answers:    I would tender the toothpaste a try for a couple of weeks.
Probably save you money within the long run.
Sensodyne toothpaste and a mouthwash called Corsodyl - be recommended by my dentist and got great nouns by combining the two. Also, when brushing, use warm hose down, not cold.
