*Sigh* Oh, Beyonce... Why do race have a sneaking suspicion that the "lemon cleanse"/"detox diet"/whatever will hepl them?
THANK YOU! I think adjectives the reasons you nominated are valid. People want a simple solution, a quick solution, and anything that promises both is enticing. I have read within multiple articles from health magazine and websites that these detox diets are dangerous. I suppose people don't really concern though..they are so desperate to achieve "the look" that they are feeling like to go to extremes. The same logic applies to empire who tan regularly: they may know it cause cancer, but they want to be tan so feebly that they don't care. (It appalled me the other daytime to see an ad for tanning beds- also proven to impose cancer- that actually said tanning be a way to "gain your vitamin D").
Really appreciated the post!!
Ah yes! The "Beam me up Scottie" mentality. I will magically appear on board the mother ship contained by a new a slimmer body where on earth I will grab an after dinner pizza and for a time desert.
it's frustrating to see ppl going for detox/cleanse rather than revolutionize their health and in actuality lose weight near proper diet and exercise. maybe they enjoy to learn the strong way if they plan to shame common sense and progress for shortcuts , and some never learn. it's our undertaking to warn that's adjectives, if adults choose to harm themselves they will wage for it and we have nil to feel discouraging about except possibly feel sorry for them.
