no. exercises similar to situps and crunches are manditory for stronger abs. i would suggest leg raises and crunches every sunshine

and also your abds will not show unless you get rid of the level of fat covering them by doing cardio such as running.
limp leg raises
try the plank and side plank along next to hanging leg raise.
