Feeling bad for sugar?

I always mix my cereals together...a little bit of everything, so there's fun mixed with healthy stuff. However, today, there was barely any Tootie Fruities left (the Malt o Meal ripoff of Fruit Loops) and I figured that since my brother loves that stuff, he would finish it. So, I put a little bit extra in my bowl. Plus, I knew he would feel bad seeing how his bowl was all full of chocolate stuff while mine was so much whole grains. It wasn't THAT much but it was more than I'm used to. He didn't finish the rest, though, so I didn't need to put extra. So now I feel bad for adding more sugar than I originally wanted.
