Insomniac from possibly bipolar?

Okay, well I am bipolar and I haven't prescribed medication merely yet. I individually don't think I requirement it, for the fact it isn't that serious. But lately, I've be having trouble sleeping.. in actuality I've kind of starting becoming an insomniac and I can`t stand it.,, I mean yeah I would find tired but then I when I want to sleep I acquire this burst of energy that keep me up. I need to sleep so I won't discern sleepy at work. What should I do?. I never had this problem previously until now.

Answers:    i'm bipolar and absolutely suffer from insomnia, have for years.i enjoy 3 very involved boys also that don't make it any easier. my suggestion, which is what i will be doing here to morrow within fact, is purely to ask you doc if there is a sleep aid he can suggest. i've tried everything i could find to minister to me sleep at night, from otc meds to herbal teas, excercise, hot showers,simply about anything i could look up. iwas other told that my meds for my disorder should help regulate my sleep model, but that isn't the case.i would ask around the sleep aid until you can figure out whether it's due to the bi polar disorder or not.i merely wouldn't want them to use you like lab rat until they find what works. hope it help.
I have insomnia and lamentably it is a side effect from bipolar. While you are up all dark why not see it as an opportunity to get some stuff done. I do my academy work etc.

I have be staying up all hours of darkness til 6am etc for ages because I can't get tired but when I call for to kick that way sometimes it works by not going to sleep when I am tired during the day and getting into a sleeping guide. This is short term.
