Anxiety and OCD Question...?
I agree near you on not taking medication. My mom has the exact same entity you do, and she went to the doctor, and the doctor put her on some medication, which did not work at adjectives. She ended up going to bed at five every dark, and was other confused. Her personality changed completely, and she would wake up me up at five in the morning thinking it be time to go to university, when it's summer. She stopped taking it yesterday, because the side effects got really unpromising. Anyways, I would say settle to a therapist. My mom have done that before and it really seem to help plentifully more than taking any medication. Also, i'm sure yoga could help too. Good luck!
How in the region of trying the medication for a while, and while you are on it, be in psychotherapy with someone who really understand the condition?
My husband is on meds, and although he didn't want to be, they help him so much that natural life is worth living again.
I am thinking that if your condition is eventually manageable short the meds, taking them for a little while very soon would allow you to focus on the therapy and use this porthole of time in peace.

Dear fun11...If you have diabetes would you try to control it with yoga and not nick insulin? Anxiety and depression are the result of organic brain chemistry. It is no different than any other disease that can be controlled by medication. When I reach my lowest point I refused to appropriate medication. I knew I could cadence it on my own. I tried yoga, yogurt, cottage cheese and every other remedy that anyone suggested. My story can be found on Yahoo Search under "The Last Temptation of George Petrie". You can see from this article how my natural life spiraled downward until I almost couldn't crawl out. I lost my home, my family, my vehicle and ended up next to what I had surrounded by a paper shoulder bag and homeless. Finally I was admit to a mental hospital and forced to take medication (Prozac) I be there for 30 days. When I get out I actually feel better and got stronger every daylight. I was competent to go to court to combat to get vertebrae what I lost. I reconnected with my ancestral. I found another job (I didn't reason that would ever be possible). I still have "problems" today, a moment ago like everyone else but I am competent to face them because of medication. I'm not sure why I be so stubborn. If I had gotten sustain sooner, none of these terrible things would hold had to own happened. Please check and at least tender yourself a chance to be strong and relish life. best wishes to you

I have something similiar to this or the same final when I was 13-15. There be a black man living nest to us and my dad was other away at sea from man in the Coast Guard. I be the oldest. Anyways, the man would come over late at dark and knock on my bedroom window and ask for potatoes. He be always drunk. Being the elder brother and first son I felt I have to protect somehow. I was other the first to get up and look and run to the door to see more. But during the summer when I was home alone I wouldnt head off the house for like weeks. I would stay contained by and watch tv. Eventually, I grew out of it. I started listen to more and more music. Played guitar. Made some knew black friends and started to relate next to them. I'm 25 years old very soon living in Richmond and own no fear of going downtown, within allies, late at darkness alone.
I also went to see someone and they prescriped "drugs" for me. It made me someone I wasn't; I be numb. After three months of taking them I stopped, decided to be forgiving and overcome any fear I have.
In my opinion the best piece to do is overcome your fear of anything. Get up, run out and drive. Drive forever. Drive as long as the roads will let you. Walk out of the house and step to the next town over. Don't be afraid. Overcome everything you panic.
You could try Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Check with a psychologist that see a lot of OCD patients. It involves "thought-stopping" technique.
Or, you could try Kava Kava (a natural sedative). Sometimes anxiety triggers follower thoughts.
medication wont work, you have to over come yourself conversation about it help but then again you know yourself more than anyone else do things you approaching to do figure out what gt you anxiety contained by the first place it should help ,it of late my opinion though
Hi! I’m so sorry to hear you are sensation bad. I suffered from madness attacks and OCD for 15 years. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy really helped me – I believe within it so much, I spend all my spare time recommend it! Try the following steps:
1. Breathe properly - if you control your breathing, you control panic. As soon as you thought the signs of anxiety, check your breathing: breathe in slowly through your antenna pushing your tummy out (to the count of 5 or so). Breathe out slowly and for a bit longer (to the count of 7 or so) through your mouth. Do not breathe rapidly or shallowly (in the chest area). This will soon restore the symmetry of oxygen and you will feel profusely better.
2. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy! CBT is proven to be the most effective piece for panic attacks and OCD. It take a bit of work, but it is super effective. (After 15 years of nouns attacks, mine stopped completely). You can speak to your doctor about taking a course or you can hold a course for free online at: http://www.livinglifetothefull.com/elear... (A ‘prettier’ version of this type of programme can be bought at www.thewellnessshop.co.uk). If you don’t resembling computers, the best book is Dr Robert Burns, The Feeling Good Handbook. It basically teach CBT and used by many psychologists.
3. Try relaxation exercise tape (progressive muscular relaxation). They really help if you practise commonly enough. This site have instructions on how to do it without the tape (and other useful info): http://www.cci.strength.wa.gov.au/resource...
With each of these steps, practise make perfect. Hope you get the impression better soon! Good luck!
