Taking zyban beside cannabis?
Answer:
Cannabis and Zyban should have roughly zero interaction surrounded by the brain. Zyban is a brand name for the medication Buproprion which is an anti-depressant (also used as an aid for quiting smoking). Buproprion act as a weak norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor and as a watery dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Cannabis releases the chemical Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) into the brain, the THC binds to the brains natural cannaboid receptor CB1 cause psychoactive effects....
The use of Zyban in quiting smoking is a result of Buproprion self a nicotine antagonist. Since Cannabis has no nicotine contained by it this is irrelevant.
As you can see these two drugs affect the brain in exceedingly very different ways. There should be deeply zero interaction between Cannabis and Buproprion.
A side details -- be careful what other drugs you mix beside Buproprion. Zyban lowers your seizure threshold, and if you thieve another drug that does this as well you are at great risk of have a seizure. I recommend discussion to a doctor about the risks associated next to both drugs.
edit:
What user "chuckler" said is complete and utter rubbish. Cannabis has be shown to be safe for long occupancy use in almost every respect. There are observable dangers from smoking anything habitually, but marijuana is primarily harmless when compared to tobacco. Do not listen to BS close to that, as he has no clue what he's conversation about.
Why ? I am taking zyban to quit smoking. IT is working powerfully.
probably not a good conception as zyban stops smoking
I wouldn't recommend taking cannabis by itself because it causes schizophrenia and other paranoid mental illnesses
