Epigenetics?

Can someone give me an outline of the molecular mechanism behind why DNA Acetylation, Methylation, Phosphorylation and broad structure (i.e. nucleosomes etc) affect genetic expression/transcription etc? I get how these change take place, but not how they affect phenotypes. Any accessible webpages would also be a massive serve. Thanks everyone!

Answers:    Epigenetics is a term within biology used today to refer to features such as chromatin and DNA modifications that are stable over rounds of cell division but do not involve changes surrounded by the underlying DNA sequence of the organism.[1] These epigenetic changes play a role contained by the process of cellular differentiation, allowing cells to stably continue different characteristics despite containing the same genomic matter. Epigenetic features are inherited when cell divide despite a lack of regulation in the DNA sequence itself and, although most of these features are considered dynamic over the course of nouns in multicellular organisms, some epigenetic features show transgenerational inheritance and are adjectives from one generation to the subsequent.[2]

Specific epigenetic processes include paramutation, bookmarking, imprinting, gene silencing, X chromosome inactivation, position effect, reprogramming, transvection, protective effects, the progress of carcinogenesis, many effects of teratogens, regulation of histone modifications and heterochromatin, and methodical limitations affecting parthenogenesis and cloning.
