We have antimicrobial soaps - why not underwear?

I estimate the soaps are only potent once in soft, because the diffusion of particles is much more nippy and the bacteria, etc. can be wash away because of the high contact nouns. Underwear are solid, so there is much smaller number surface area for the interaction between your antimicrobial ingredients and the microbes. It would work if they foamed, or if you invented juice underwear, but who wants that? Although, for some race it would still be worth it.

Most bacteria surrounded by your "nether regions" are helpful germs. If you destroyed that bacteria you would generate your body exposed to many different adverse infections and diseases. Remember.not all germs is bad (pathogenic vs. nonpathogenic).

The entire human body is full of germs. Most bacteria is non-hazardous, due to natural inmune systems. Antibacterial underwear is a doomed to failure idea, as it's curing a "problem" that isn't really at hand. Antibacterials, used indiscriminately, will alter the balance between common bacteria and the inmune system, which is discouraging news when the body have to fight resistant microbes, or if such antibacterials have powerless the inmune system.
Best remedy is to shower daily and transfer undies at least on a daily basis (There's a concept!).

I don't think so. With the proper hygiene, the areas covered by underwear are pretty safe and sound. The normal microbes flora (unharmful bacteria) are doing its job capably in that nouns. Disturbing its normal condition will expose you to negative risks.So with antimicrobial underwear, the endency to verbs or alter the normal flora environment is high-ranking and it may result to setting in sorts of infection. Proper keeping and hygiene are the most beneficial for sure.
