Flu approaching symptoms and extxream fatigue for just about a week???????

I just get over pnemonia 3 months ago. At the beginning of this week i started hunch pretty tired but i figured it be stress so i took a nap but it terminated up being six hours long. when i woke up i feel generally fluish near chills and body aches. this go on for a couple days... i toughed out classes but on thursday i woke up with a soar throat almost throbbing next to a 101 temp. My temp has be going up and down from 101.5 - 103 for the past three days. Its hindmost at 101 today. I have a mild, non-productive cough but its just irritating my throat more. I've stayed out of class for 2 days and called the doc. she said its probably a virus. but i can't give the impression of being to stay awake for more than 6 or 7 hours a day. Anyone beside any advice or know how long these sypmtoms will later or even what they are would be a big help. I don't own a medical history - no asthma, not a smoker, not pregnant or diabetic.

sometimes the flu can last for a few weeks. the simply thing you should do at this stage is brand sure you don't have a bacterial infection call strep throat. if you haven't already done so, get a throat swab for a rapid-strep testing or better yet, a culture for strep (culture is gold ingots standard for diagnosing strep). as long as you don't have strep throat, you'll eventually recuperate. if you do have strep throat, you entail to take antibiotics.
