Why do vesicles contained by presynaptic neuron move to synapse but not to te cell body within chemical synapse ?
Answer:
Retrograde transport is what you're referring to, and yes there are mechanism for retrograde transport from the terminal to the cell body, but not for transport of neurotransmitters.
There is a transport mechanism down the axons that are unidirectional. Vesicles are constantly manufactured and sent via this transport system within the direction of the synaptic cleft.
