i be prescribed amitriptoline, a similar drug, about 15 yrs ago and it be the worst drug i have ever be on. i gained a ton of solidity, and had core major side effects. i deeply woke up every morning feeling resembling i was hung over. getting up be extremely tough. i had a undamaged bunch of other side effects as well.
i am not sure if you are taking nortriptoline for depression or for something else, but i would strongly suggest that you ask your physician for an alternate medication if obligatory. i know that some people are put on tricyclics (the class of drugs nortriptoline is in) because other anti-depressants hold not worked for them, and so their dr is trying something different. however, if this is not apply to you, like i said, plainly go support to your dr. and ask for a newer drug.
It may be that you're just consumption more because you're less depressed, but the tricyclic antidepressants are also prearranged to give you the outdated sweet tooth. Either or both could be present in your bag.
