Answer:
This is not a decree you can make until you own rotated through the various specialties during medical arts school.
When you do that, you'll find what specialty is right for you.
I thought I wanted to be a pediatrician, but if I have to do that now, I'd put a bullet surrounded by my head. (I'm an anesthesiologist. I love kids. Sleeping kids.) Before medical academy, I would NEVER have considered anesthesia, but it is where on earth I belong.
You have to do what you love, because you're going to spend a lifetime doing it.

What studies have you started? Have you finished or even begin your undergrad?
Start by talking to doctors. Don't ask strangers on the internet, but walk to doctors in a hospital and have a word to them. Ask them their hours, whether they have to work phone call, etc. BUT do NOT ask about their net. It's just rude.

Avoid gynecology. It might sound resembling a good model, but if someone's got a mean problem down there, you're the personage they are going to.

You don't have to know what open-handed of doctor you want to be to start medical school. It will come to you as you rotate through the different services. To be a specialist you own to do a residency in the specialty of your choice. You will by after be acquainted with the pro's and con's of respectively one. For instance, OB/GYN's are always getting call in the middle of the darkness. Dermatologists are not.

If your surrounded by the USA, I suggest "Orthopedics" since over 12,000 people turn 50 every time here, (Baby Boomers). Ortho Surgeons are very popular. If you would a bit deal beside young individuals, be a baby doctor, but Old those have the most entail and the most money.
Popular does not mean it is "for you" All docs can produce a good living and really oblige patients. While you completely your med school program and start your clinicals you will rotate through respectively specialty. This will expose you to many different specialties and see which match up best with: A) your self and B) your medical interest.
Get into and through med school previously even concerning yourself with this grill. For now focus on working toward pre-med when and if you are surrounded by college and the specialty will not have to be determined until fairly a while longer.
