That's what they enunciate. Most people listen to music at level that are way to elevated for what ears can tolerate. People begin to verbs different levels of audible range, and they don't realize that they're even doing it. Once its gone, is gone!!
It really all depends on the volume at which you listen to the music. As long as it isn't blasting so loud that society around you can still hear what you're listening to, I reckon you'll be ok. Keep it at a moderate level if you must use earpiece frequently.

Been doing it for years. Have great hearing. I can hear stuff other populace can't. There is evidence that it does, it fact, disfavour your hearing. Just don't listen to it so loud that other folks around you can hear it and you'll probably be okay.
