I could make the argument that throwing them away is destroying go. Would God approve that or prefer they are used to try to heal the sick?

It's stupid to throw away embryos that could be usefull surrounded by research. Stem cells may not be the tide of the future.but it's no problem worth exploring. Research cures and ignorance kills.

and besides the point. stem cell research has not really proven to be terribly effective, far from the adjectives of all research and the savior of humanity that it is made out to be. the research i.e. being done on 'adult' stem cell has proven far more prospective and have results, not promises.

According to your first query it's picking between the lesser of 2 evils. You ponder both of them are wrong and nothing short of God instinctively speaking to you and telling you that one of them is upright is going to change your mind. Think roughly speaking it and if you feel one of them is correct then stick by that otherwise neither of them are ever going to be suitable for you.
