I have individual stage 2 endo, so I can only visualize what you are going through. My doc told me the best treatment for endo is pregnancy (go figure). I was individual 23 at the time so I certainly be not ready for that. I terminated up losing one of my ovaries and had really doomed to failure scarring of my ureters and ended up near kidney problems. had 2 more surgeries to cut the blotch tissue. went on the pill and things get a little better. When I be 28 got pregnant by IVF. Now I am 32 and naissance menopause. having severly hefty periods, mood swings, bone anguish, severe back aching with period, and beginning severe migraines near periods, and I be just told that I may own endo implants contained by my brain that are sensitive to my monthly hormone fluctuations so that is what is cause the headaches. I of late spent 2 months on vicodan and fiorcet and now I am on an estrogen patch for the headache. Don't know yet if it will work, but droop in within girl, you are not alone. (I'll say a prayer for you)

try taking advil to help keep hold of the pain down contained by between doses
if you can keep headache down with OTC meds afterwards possibly you can take smaller quantity of the prescription drugs
In reality you are more than expected already addicted. You may find your pain worse than past you were taking the meds.
Have you see a pain Specialist. They are wonderful Doctors that can give support to you manage you aching by many different methods. And as long as your taking the agony medications for backache then no your not going to go and get addicted, but you may need to at a snail`s pace lower the dose down when your pain is subsiding.
Endometriosis backache can have flares that are severely difficult to control. Moreover, you may find great variation beside your hormonal cycles. As with any benevolent of pain, variety sure the right diagnosis has be made by asking your doctor exactly that question.
Combating affliction is most successful when multiple modes are employed. Tylenol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and other "NSAID" type drugs all work equal way. Of course you can alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen taking respectively at reccommended dosages every 6 hours. For constant pain stay on a regular calendar of these medications every daytime throughout the day. DO NOT exceed manufacturer guidelines. Narcotics like the live ingredients hydrocodone, oxycodone, morphine found in vicodin, percocet and the rest are used on an as needed justification. If you are at the point where you are regularly taking the tylenol/ibuprofen and still need the narcotics around the clock its a good time to ask your doctor for a refferal to a agony management specialist who can sustain you work out a safe and more forceful schedule of medication.
As I said the key is using a multitude of approachs. Hormonal treatment may also help to control flares. Exercise, even walking help to distract you and maintain the body's own endorphin system. And support groups may abet as well. Please see the contact below.
I have be on Methadone, Vicadin, duregesic patches and several prn narcotics for severe chronic twinge for the last 10 years. At first it be tough but, I tried every thing from throbbing clinics to acupuncture, candle ear waxing, chiropractic etc., etc.,etc. various doctors were rude and unresponsive but, I did not give up and I finally found three doctors that work together and contracted i was Not drug seeking. One of my other doctors (right out of an internship) even call all the hospitals and pharmacies and my untried doctor to tell him that I be a drug seeker. Since my foreign Doctor found out what was the concern with me he have several words for her especially since he had be in practice for 35 years and she be telling him his diagnosis be wrong. I had several vertebrae replaced and verbs to receive treatment I got so much better that I hold cut may meds in partly by my self (with my doc's okay) after 8 years. If you need them and don't name-calling them they will work for you. You may become addicted or need them so you do not travel into withdrawal but, when the time comes to dance off them or lessen them your doctor will help you.Good luck. Be strong and god bless. Being surrounded by pain adjectives the time is the worst thing I can meditate of
