Don't even try to integer out what it is. You shouldn't take anything that isn't surrounded by a container or something. It is not safe to try and guess what medication you're taking. My warning.. THROW IT AWAY!

If you don't know what it is, don't take it.
If you found it surrounded by a child's things, take it to the hospital and find out. Then find the kid into re-hab.

Take it straight to the toilet and flush it. You don't need to play around beside unknown medication. And even if you do find out what it's for, what will you do with it? If it wasn't prescribed for you, you don't entail it.

All medications hold a "half-life" at which time they are not longer useful. They can in truth change their productive composition and become poisonous.
Take it to a drugstore and the pharmacist will identify it. If you know anyone with a physicians desk mention, you can look it up in at hand. But, pharmacist is best place, and he won't charge you or take the pill away.
