Penicillin's Dosage and toxicity?

Why penicillin use in small amount is not damaging but not in illustrious concentration?

Answer:
Practically ANY substance can have curative benefit in small doses but be toxic surrounded by large doses - even WATER!
I'm not so sure going on for harmful within large doses...
see, I hold a rare form of meningitis specifically only stopped by 5 million unit (or whatever it is!) of pennicillin every 4 hours.
