What is the properties of the anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament?
Answer:
Physical properties of a ligament are relatively difficult to measure within vivo.
I'm not sure that autopsy specimens necessarily have like peas in a pod properties as live specimens.
The ligaments will also vary near the size of the patient (child/adult) - specifically the distance from the ground of the patient.
The other answerer is right that the properties will swing quite a bit amongst individuals. If you only just want rough numbers, I would suggest searching the literature. One place you can start is:
Noyes, FR. (1977) "Functional properties of knees ligaments and alterations induced by immobilization." _Clinical Orthopaedics & Related Research_ 123: 210-242.
I haven't looked for anything more recent.
