If someone take nitroglycerin and jump up and down, will they blow themselves up?

lol!! this is a truly funny question, I literally laugh when I read it. I don't know if you meant it to be a set-up or if you were serious, but any way, it's a GREAT one! :-)

People that own angina, or chest pains, often thieve very small tablets of nitroglycerin at the beginning of those chest pains, and sometimes, they are prescribed nitroglycerin in a pill form or patch form to nick on a regular basis. The view behind it is that it is a vasodilator, significance it causes your blood vessel to expand, allowing more oxygen to your heart. Many times, when people are have chest pains, it is due to decreased oxygen to their heart, and when they pop a nitro underneath their tongue, it allows for speedy vasodilation, thus allowing more oxygen to their heart, and reducing the pain. This can hold side effects though, especially if taken in larger quantity, the two most common mortal headache and lightheadedness.

The amount of nitro in the pills is not ample to cause any type of explosive bustle in the human body, or they wouldn't know how to sell it and it wouldn't be approved by the FDA. I don't reflect on you have any obligation to worry something like blowing up. The bigger concern would be if you were certainly having a heart attack or not. That is why they report to patients if you've taken three nitros and your chest pain is not relieved, you involve to call 911 and bring back to the nearest ER. ;-)

Truly. your question is .. the bomb! :-P *smiles*
Oh man, that would be so cool. But it wouldn't come up.
I have see many dumb question, and this is not one of them.

I think to be exact the most awesome question I enjoy seen on here!!
no. they'd be inert first.
no they die trying
Nitroglycerin is taken by people who suffer from heart problems. It is not administered within any kind of size sufficient to cause an explosion. I notably doubt that the medication itself would pose an explosion risk even before it's taken. Otherwise terrorists would be robbing heart patients.
no they will not..but there's a possibility of falling on their obverse as the nitroglycerine have the susceptibility to lower the heartbeat with increased contractility..so ..no .jump up and down.not suggested after nitroglycerine..
No

GTN used as a vasodilator. Useful in the treatment of Angina.
Nitroglycerin tablets are stabilized. They won't blow up even if you hit them near a hammer. If you have a bottle of liquid nitroglycerin surrounded by your pocket and you jumped up and down you might succeed contained by blowing yourself up.
ROFL.NO.NO .No.but they might get dizzy
It probably have something to do with the number of NO3 groups attached to the glycerine molecule. Mono-nitroglycerin would not be explosive, however tri-nitroglycerin would blow your cranium off, kinda approaching tri-nitro-toluene.
