No. Many bacteria that are G- cocci are any pathogenic or are opportunistic pathogens. Some common examples are (for simplicity, I will lone list the Genus): Alcaligenes, Neisseria, Pseudomonas, Legionella and Francisella to describe a few. I'd try each of the following test: urease, oxidase, DNAse, Mannitol Salt Agar, and a stab test would be adjectives and simple. Roughly 20% of G- cocci are anaerobic so that will immediately give support to differentiate your sample. As other, some of your best data can be obtain from examination of the morphological characteristics (colony size (small, strewn, concentrated...), shape (singles, diads, triads, tetrads, chains....), color (white, pearl, translucent...), odor (pungent, musky,...).
