from what i understand, the aging process is mostly not genetic. it is cause by toxins that slowly build up in your cell. i'm not talking almost cancer, just typical wear and tear humane of stuff.
i don't have any evidence, it's basically something i heard at some time or another, so i might be completely wrong.
