Are within any primary side effects from taking Zocor?

My husband started taking the medication about a month ago contained by response to high cholesterol and very soon is experiencing what can only be described as a tightening of the muscles surrounded by his chest. I do not think it would be considered a heart problem and it is not extremely raw as far as I know, but he did not have this past he started taking the medication. Please respond with any information you may own. Thank you!
