Ibuprofen dosage for dogs?
Answers:
I have a 10 lb dog and the vet told me i could administer him one childrens asprin. This is a question that a vet would probably answer for free if you be to call.
If the dog is over 20lbs donate him a whole mature one crushed up in a bowl of river. It's okay. I gave my 60lb dog two and she be fine. I won't be responsible if your dog weighs smaller number then that and you donate him one.
LOTS
how much does your dog weigh?
For most half tab would be okay i.e. 150mg
If you ask a veterinarian, they will right to be heard that you should only donate dogs pure aspirin, and not ibuprofen, because ibuprofen is toxic to dogs. If you want to give them an aspirin, one child strength pill is plenty for smaller dogs, and an adult strength pill for larger dogs.
do not administer your dog ibuprofin! They will bleed internally, ask any vet. Apirin isn't much better, and for sure don't give you cat aspirin.. And donate neither Tylenol. Sorry, these are all really toxic to four footed furries. There is one well brought-up pain releiver for dogs, but it is from your vet merely Rimadyl. My md husband gave our dobie ibuprofin, and almost kill the dog. He was bleeding internally, and lost consciousness!!
Do not bequeath any animal ibuprofen!! Low-dose aspirin for a dog is fine, but PLEASE consult a vet first.
