Do other women who have SIMPLE, not total, hysterectomies catch "phantom" cramping? have to do near ovulation?

i only have my uterus removed, but my ovaries and tubes were pious, so they stayed in. over the 4 years since, i own gotten cramping not every month, but some months, exactly like when i have my period. is this what is call "phantom" pain, or is it that i am still ovulating? since i do not hold a cervix anymore, cramping doesn't make any sense.

It is not unusual for someone who have had any section of their body removed to still experience pain as if it be there. For example, a diabetic who have had a foot amputated my complain that their toes sting and yet they aren't within. It's called 'phantom pain'.

From personal experience, I have all of my upper teeth removed and a full plate made, however when I eat something extremely sweet like cake icing, I grain pain but I know the teeth are no longer near.

As well as have phanton pain, I would assume you are still ovulating. Since they are still within and functioning and producing hormones, I suppose the same pms symptoms would be present as capably. Where the egg goes I enjoy no idea. I did find a site that you might find informative though. Good luck finding your answer and understanding your pains!

I guess I'm not sure what the residence for my hysterectomy was but they not here one ovary and most of the cervix. Thought I'd have thoughts around that "time" but God, never missed it for a second! Enjoy the freedom!
My wife have her uterus and 1 ovary removed a few years ago and has never complained almost cramps since.
all i can describe u is i had a total 4 years ago and i do duplicate thing.i judge my doc thinks im crazy.
i own had indistinguishable thing done, and i too hold the same charitable of cramping , and even worse pain. they let somebody know me the pain is from the ovulation, and from the blotch tissue left aft. i tend to scar deeply badly next to surgeries. there is zilch they can do for it, but treat me as they did before the surgery. which i do not want to be on medication.
a simple hysterectomy mode the ovaries are left inside the body. It is the ovulation that produces affliction in frequent cases. since the ovaries were not here it's possible to still feel backache.
