As surrounded by previous answers MD is the basic medical qualification surrounded by US and many other countries.

In the UK MB (bachelor of medicine) and BS (bachelor of surgery) are the serious degrees conferred on medical old pupils (although the BS is sometimes rendered BChir or ChB and the MB is given as BM by some universities).

And to add to the confusion, UK university also grand MD degree. However, unlike the US, these are actually 2 year research degree, usually granted to medical doctors on production of a thesis of clinical (though it may be rough science) research.

So, to interpret what it means you really inevitability to know where the doctor contained by question trained.
These are different degree.

MD - Doctor of Medicine
MB - Bachelor's degree contained by Medicine
BS - Bachelor's degree within science.

All of these are degrees.

In the United States, you typically grasp your BS first (not even havign to get a BS (can attain something else) - but is a common route)

Afterwards, you can seize your MD.

However, in Europe and some parts of Asia and Africa, you freshly get your MB.

In definition, they are different because you dance to school differently - but within practice - they are the same.
MB BS is the amount awarded medical doctors Great britain and other countries. It is equivalent to the US degree of MD (Medical Doctor). In the US dentists, chiropractors, and inhabitants with a Phd scope in any nouns such as english, mathematics or sociology are referred to as "Doctor". You can enjoy a doctrate degree surrounded by mathematics or be a chiropractor but you are not the "doctor" asked for when someone yell "Is there a doctor surrounded by the house?"
Different curriculum, same reading material & skills training.

MD mostly US-based

MB BS mostly UK-based
