Why some relatives are born near ear lobules attached to their side of their head and why do some don't?

I mean why are some populace born with ear lobules not attached to their head along with the rest of the ear, i hold non attached lobules but my friend has it the other instrument. Is this because of ethnicity?,a usual mistake in our genetic disposition or a moment ago mere luck? do I need to trademark it clearer?
