Any one hurt their big toe falling down the stairs? Did you own surgery to correct it? Did it work?

I had an external fixator put on my big toe to stretch the combined. Now I have to any have an surround or a fusion.

Very scared and obligation someones opinion on what I should do and if near are any permanent problems near these surgeries.

I work on an orthopaedic floor and I know that people who bring back their joints fixed or breaks fixed quality so much better after the initial surgery. Yes, right after surgery it will be painful, but contained by a couple weeks you will be glad and you won't have the problems of arthritis because of the abnormality. I would probably have it done because I know of the problems that can go down if you don't get this fixed.

Have the surgery your doctor recommends. Even if the result is not totally customary, it's by far a better option than not have it corrected.
