Tons! First there are the manifest choices, retail pharmacist and hospital pharmacist. Both counsel patients and dispense medications. Then nearby are pharmacists who work in nursing homes, psychiatric treatment centers, prisons, Indian reservations, etc. You can also become a pharmacist specialist within areas like ICU, pediatrics, cariology, spasm management, nephrology, neurology, infectious disease, transplant, drug information (like a pharmacist/librarian), obstetrics/gynecology, etc. In these specialty areas you can work surrounded by a hospital or even in a clinic (outpatient) setting. There are also lots of job with the drug companies. You can be a researcher, a salesperson, or a medical liaison (teaching the doctors). There are also some distinctive positions with the FDA, CDC, and other command organizations. Oh, and I almost forgot, you can other teach pharmacy at a college or university.
