I am mbbs 1st year student, plz suggest me abt the authors whose books should i refer ?

my subjects are anatomy , physiology & biochemistry. i am from india. should i prefer foreign authors or indian? plz give full mark of the books.

Anatomy-- Gray's, Last, Snell.
Physiology-- Samson Wright, Guyton, Ganong. Indian author Chatterjee is devout, too.
Biochem.-- Thorpe.
Read standard books to form the concept, understand the thing and for reference. Short books are better for remembering, cramming lately before a trial or exam.
