The most important point you need is determination.
Yeah, bring back good grades, shadow vet, good examination scores and volunteer, be president of your pre-vet society etc. But if you don't hold the determination or the will - you'll never make it.
Its a VERY difficult road ahead and your undergraduate years will be hell, but start hasty (like you are) and keep your 'eye on the prize!' and you'll do simply fine!
