Strabismus, also known as "heterotropia", "squint", "crossed eye", "cockeyed', "wandering eye", or "wall eyed", is a condition contained by which the eyes are not properly aligned with respectively other. It typically involves a lack of coordination between the extraocular muscles which prevents bringing the stare of each eye to matching point in space, preventing proper binocular mirage, which may adversely affect depth perception.
