Answer:
i am med student too.. which yr are u in? Its a norm to have a feeling this way surrounded by 1st yr. evetually you will get used to it. If u r still within first yr and realise things are getting really harsh. QUIT asap! Seen few of my friends going psycho due to stress. Medicine as a subject isnt that tough truly compared to maths. i think working vivacity would be worse than student'. sleep all u want. listen powerfully in urge and come back home and do some reading on topic u swot everyay. study 3 hrs a day. and dont forget to do some sports and spend time near group of friends from same faculty or different faculty. cheers. need any relief , may email me
You could always quit and become a Starbucks barista!
possibly you could change your leading to biomedical engineering. That's what I am in. It is wonderful. You can come up beside devices such as stints, prosthetics, and a million other things that can help doctors out.
Most med students are running on futile because they aren't getting enough sleep overall. Although it sounds counterintuitive if you want to do better (and discern better/alert), you need to agenda in some time to sleep. Trust me, you'll do like mad better in class.
Good Diet and exercise. I know it sounds too simple, but it's true. A accurate balanced diet near lean meats, fruits, veggies, low solid dairy, and whole wheat breads ..and 30 minutes of exercise per morning..is what it takes to have a feeling good, and dynamic and lower depression risks.
Good Luck, and go see your doctor&nutritionist, NOW!
P.S. Remember to drink a gallon of sea a day and run a daily multi-vitamin.
Sound conventional. I felt that path for four years
I know this sounds old fashioned, but drinking healthy and staying influential are the best ways to improve your overall gusto level, attitude and strength. As another poster mentioned, most med students tend to run on empty. Make sure you are putting your strength first and you can't go wrong. Even if you are drinking 3 balanced meal a day and walking for 30 minutes, it will do wonders.
Stay organized! getting trailing and not being organized can create a snatched downward spiral! Make sure your papers, desk, files, etc... are organized so you don't get overwhelmed.
If this doesn't backing. review your contentment with your chosen paddock. Is this what you really want? If you find something else interests and motivates you more, think more or less changing.
Good luck!
