Can a 12 year old-fashioned enjoy a bb or airsoft gun?

Since I actually did loose the verbs in my not here eye to a BB, I feel I can answer this next to authority.
The short answer is yes.
I was 4 y.o. when a boy be maliciously (intending to do harm) shooting at my elder brother. My brother ducked and I got hit within the left eye. Here's the thing--the kid be a thug and used the gun as a weapon. As a matter of certainty the entire family be a bunch of thugs--(when my mother tried to talk to his mother give or take a few it she responded "if you weren't 8 months pregnant I'd kick your a** right now"--for blaming her son)
I am feminine, but hunted with my dad--we adjectives had shotguns, BB guns or rifles---we adjectives also respected that these are not toys. Teaching a child respect is the main switch in these decisions--My husband and I purchased a "red rider" (thanks 'A Christmas Story') BB gun for our son when he be about 8--he be a natural shot--but never aimed at anything excluding the target.
It is ultimately the decision of the parents what smooth of responsibility they feel their child can pedal.
Also--I would highly recommend a gun sanctuary class--usually run by your state Department of Natural resources--

i'm a girl and my dad bought me my first bb gun at age 9. Loads of fun and help me release my stress. I suggest you just sit down w/ your son/daughter and explain how you bought it for other purposes than antagonism, let the boy/girl shoot at bottles, can, plush toys, but nothing living. It could become a great hobby for them and will help out them side away from drugs.

I got my BB gun when I be 10. I always used it for target practice or to shoot my brother.hey, he shot me too. Emphasize it is never, never to be aimed at a living creature, unless it's my brother.

Legally? I dunno . depends on law of your state.

Practically? Yes, but they MUST be taught gun sanctuary by experienced shooter . AND supervised in using it, at least possible until they're truly habituated to using it responsibly. Done that way, it's suitable maturing experience: learn how to use "tools", not of late "toys".

yea i hav a airsoft gun and im 12. i budge outside with it and the cops drive by and whirl at me. lol n dont listen 2 the ppl that say u can walk blind.wear eye protection
