The tubal ligation is beyond doubt NOT 100% effective.

However, neither is zero.
Misinformation roughly the effectiveness of any procedure, i.e., believing they are 100% effective, can head to mistrust and accusations between a couple.

This is one ridiculous "rumor" that has be around far too long. The answer to your question is an emphatic NO. You can not become pregnant after a Tubal Ligation. You are protected 100% from becoming pregnant because not only are the Falopian Tubes "cut and severed".they are secondly "tied" and after thirdly "burned" to destroy the tissue and in consequence impossible to "reattach" or for sperm to transit the empty null and void between the vagina and falopian tubes that lead to the ovaries from where on earth your egg is produced. It is just a ridiculous rumor. Let near come forth even ONE woman (who is educated and sane) who have had Tubal Ligation immediately stand give nouns to a verifiable "pregnancy". It won't happen.so be at rest.
my mother have a tubal and still had 3 kids. but that be back surrounded by 1993 when she got hers done. a tubal is approaching a vasectomy. they are most of the way significant but there is other the x factor of the tubes coming undone thus the possibility of a tubal pregnancy, but those are unbelievably small odds. pretty close to 100 percent powerful though
Yes, although it VERY rare. The fundamental problems are from damage to the tube, ectopic and abdominal pregnancies. Here are two reports from the medical literature.

I like to have a sneaking suspicion that of myself as "educated and sane". I'm an OB nurse and hold encountered three women who enjoy had tubal ligations and gotten pregnant. It is massively unlikely, but it does happen. Vasectomies can come to nothing also.
