If you run to a hospital and a PA comes to examin you, would you ring him doctor?

if not, later what do you call him/her?

Answers:
No.

Use their first first name.
A P.A. is not really a doctor. That person works beneath a doctors lic. The Dr. oversees what that person is doing. So no. I would not ring up one a doctor. The one I see has his clients christen him by his first name.
plentiful pa's will use doctor and their name. the problem is they are not doctors and can't even write script. they must be signed by a m.d. at my va hospital, they have alot of pa's. i hail as them by their names as they are not doctors.
You call for him or her by their first name.
NO you wouldn't. PAs are not doctors. If they introduced themselves using their first nickname, you can use that, otherwise use Mr. or Ms. as you would any other person.
A PA is not reasonably a medical doctor. Therefore address him or her as you would any other medical staff person, or better all the same ask the PA what he or she would like to be call. They are trained health effort professionals and should be treated as such, just approaching medical doctors and registered nurses. They have to overrun the same stringent test as every one else, so don't be disappointed if you get a PA instead of "your MD".
NO! you phone up him by his first name. it;s close to if a nurse practioner were to see you.. you phone up her by her first name too. they are not medical doctors, nor do they own doctorate degrees. They usually do not refer to themselves as Drs. From my experience, when they ring up the pharmacy to leave a message give or take a few a prescription for a patient, they will usually articulate "Hi, this is John Smith calling in a prescription for _______" If here is any doubt about if he is a PA, RNP, chiropractor, podiatrist, etc, next you call wager on and verify. Doctors usually call and voice "Hi.. this is Dr. Joe Schmoe calling in a prescription for."
WHATEVER IS ON THEIR NAME TAG
