You must be smart, staunch, motivated and disciplined.
This is not a profession for those who are weak or timid
Above adjectives, you must not be afraid of hard work and regularly long hours

You don't enjoy to very smart, but it help. If you really want to learn, in that are many places that hold tutors. When I was within Nursing School, I found it hard to preserve up with adjectives of the reading, but did very economically, but then again, I'm pretty smart book-wise. There be others that didn't do very in good health on tests, but be much better than me in clinical. There be always resources available to students that required help. I'd influence even a "doofus" can learn anything they really want to. It only just may take more time and try.

I don't want any doofus being my nurse, thank you. Nursing procedures, for the most member ,are not hard to revise as they are repetitive.

I don't believe you have to be a ace, but you have to be liable to do the hard work that's associated near nursing; extra knowledge is other helpful, and it's influential to know anatomy/physiology/chemistry/m. (not anything real advanced but you entail to know some college level). Although to get into nursing college, sometimes there are classes that are required but really don't hold anything to do with nursing. colleges newly want the money. Dedication is most important, realize you shouldn't take shortcuts and making sure this is a situation you really want, not just to sort money.

learning to be a nurse have nothing to do next to how "smart" you are it is what you are willing to swot and how much effort you are liable to expend. I teach "medical" at a business college. Some of my so call "smart" students don't have the genuine desire to do this. I have be a nurse for 30 years. I do not consider myself to be "smart" but I wanted to work surrounded by medicine scantily enough that I worked frozen at it and succeeded. You can do the same. And one-sidedly, what makes you feel you are a doofus to begin beside. Being smart is not something that is given, it is acquire by effort and rugged work.
