Answerman has it right. Many doctors would refer you to a psychologist if the neurologist say it is psuedo epilepsy. One word of warning though, sometimes doctors near all flawless intentions, could be wrong. One way or another it is no fun to hold a seizure and I do not blame you for wanting to receive to the cause. I hope it go away if you have it.

That's right. "Pseudo" across the world means that it appears to be but is not. So, "real" epileptic seizure which cause rhythmic jerk movements cannot be consciously controlled, whereas seizures due to pseudo epilepsy imply jerking movement of the body that the lenient has control of. Sometimes, some infantile women put on a show to pretend that they have epilepsy to attain attention - those would fall into the dominion of pseudo epilepsy. A trained observer can usually put in the picture the two apart by looking at the jerking movements when they transpire, but sometimes it can be difficult, so to be sure that no serious disorder is missed, an MRI can be ordered to try to make sure that a brain lesion is not missed.
