Are there any animals other than humans that spread sexually transmitted disease?
Answers:
Plenty, in fact most animals have their own versions of sexually transmitted diseases. Sexual intercourse is an ideal pathway for disease transmission since the animals are transmitting live cells between themselves into conditions in which the cells will survive. That represents an ideal time for microbes to also change hosts without risking exposure to an environment that could kill them.
Monkeys and Apes
I'm guessing that they do. The AIDS virus, for example, is believed to have originally come from primates.
