Sage is a possession used for plants of the genus Salvia of the mint family, Lamiaceae. When used minus modifiers, sage generally refers to adjectives sage (Salvia officinalis); however, it can be used with modifiers to refer to any contestant of the genus. This genus includes shrubs, herbaceous perennials, and annuals. Different species of sage are grown as herbs and as pretty plants. The ornamental species are commonly referred to by their proven name Salvia.

The closely related genus Perovskia and Phlomis are also known as sage; Russian Sage, (Perovskia atriplicifolia), aboriginal to the Crimea south to Afghanistan and Pakistan, is grown as an ornamental plant because of its blue-violet sprays of flowers and its resourcefulness to either sun or sector shade. Some species of the unrelated genus Artemisia are also referred to as sage, a shortened version of sagebrush, which is a more appropriate permanent status for them. They generally morsel vile and are not used contained by food preparation, although many of them are used medicinally. Smudge bundles are made near various grey-leaved species of Artemisia and are misrepresented as "whitesage" smudges. The true whitesage is Salvia apiana, which have a delightful scent when burned.

The name is Salvia Divinorum. It is from the sage line and it's catching on around college campuses as a official high. If smoked the right agency, one is said to have an out of body experience for approximately 30 second or so. I recommend erowid for any plant/drug questions.
Salvia is a leafy extract from the Salvia divinorum plant. It is currently permitted but it probably will not be long before it is not beside the drug war idiocy. I enjoy used this drug and can report it is very interesting, and unlike other psychedelics does not rationale incapacitation for longer than about 20-30 second. It produces, for me, hallucinations of odd plastic or synthetic cities which I seem to be falling into, and trying to not topple into them but always do, and once I do, the fantasy ends. But this could be because I have other done it indoors where here is a computer, plastic objects, a formica desk, synthetic fabrics and suchlike. If I be in a innate setting I think I would identify more beside natural materials somehow. One terribly good entry about salvia is its nonaddictive spirit. The plant seems to recount me when to stop, which is after doing it once, even if I have an interesting or pleasant experience, it seem that I do not have the urge to do it again for long period of time. Others have reported similar things.
