What is your position on the stem cell research and human cloning?

What are the benefits and potential cost of stem cell research and human cloning and what are the shor and long term ethical, moral, and medical consequences of human cloning.

Answer:
Looks like homework which mode I won't be giving you your essay.

But don't worry though, the luddites who stand firm stem cell research and human cloning will lose, eventually.
Adult stem cell research is very promising. Embryonic stem cell research is stalled for in a minute because it always seem to cause tumors. Cloning could do profusely of things but that is a incredibly slippery slope to start down. Do we want countries to try to develop a super race. Seems approaching that was tried since. I think it requirements a lot more thought back starting. By the way, the resourceful reason for cloning be to clone mice so they would be all one and the same for use in carrying out tests of drugs etc. Certainly, cloning of endangered species have some valid reason.
Stem cell saves/could potentially save lives, so why not. The children be unwanted anyway, so it's not like you are intentionally butchery a person to set free another's life. You are taking someone else's mistake and turning it to fitting fortune for someone else.

Cloning on the other hand can head to intentionally creating people for the purpose of harvest them, so no I don't agree with cloning.
i run rosetta@home...........http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/...
i'm adjectives for the creation of body parts, vital organs and other tissues needed to let go lives.

but i'm against the research leading to the creation of an artificial existence form known as a clone human. it's simply beyond us to create such beings. we're nowhere close to God when it comes to creation.

but then again, i'm also starting to wonder if cloning and genetic modification is the just way to sustain the human see in a world chock-full with disease, inbred disaster, climate change, nuclear / chemical / biological warfare, street crimes, racism, religious intolerance and a host of other problems on the other hand realised / understood.

*Sigh* I would approaching to say that individual time will tell, but to be frank, we are reap the bitter crops we've been sowing for times past 100 years.
I am not a doctor...but

I think the debate boils down to cloneing ethnic group to be used as spare parts...

which basically removes the essence of God from the debate and our humanity...

sure we could cure more ancestors but at what price...when do people become family and stop becoming parts...
when does the moral compass point...why don't we just assassinate anyone over say 50 and use them to aid sick children

I believe it is like moral delima that provents me from selling one of my kidneys to the highest bidder...
wouldn't that be helping ancestors live plus but some money in my edge account
I assume stem cell research is good. As for human cloning, I give attention to we have ample people on the planet
i'm ivested within stem cell research...it could save millions of lives within the near adjectives.
