That's a very unyielding question to answer, unless you are the marketing director for the maker of paxil.
I myself didn't find it to be any good, but I enjoy had a few friends that swear by it, close to it's a miracle drug. For me it was Lexapro. It's a tricky situation near these SSRI's. Everyone is different and will respond differently to each of the masses different SSRI's that are out there. I ponder I've tried about adjectives of them, and only two of them worked for me.
I guess what I'm getting at is supply it a shot, and see for yourself. If you do not like it, or in that are some side effects to it that are disturbing you, see your doctor and have him donate you something else to try.
